A bit about me.
I have been a bookseller for most of my working life, but have always wanted to write for a living. If you become a regular visitor to this site, you will no doubt learn more about me than you probably ever wanted to. But here is me in a nutshell.

I am 42 and live in Northeast Connecticut with my incredible, older, second and last husband and our two babies, cats Pokie and Misty. Bob has two grown sons, Michael and Kevin, who also live in The Last Green Valley (which Bob affectionately renamed The Loud Brown Valley the day I moved in).
I have lived in New England my entire life with the exception of two years. When I was 5, my mother Arlene, grandmother Dottie (who passed away when I was 21), and my older brothers Mike and Dana, moved to Prescott, Arizona. We stayed only two years before homesickness got the best of us and we returned to the Northeast. I vaguely knew my father Tony, who left shortly after I was born and who I only saw a handful of times before his passing when I was almost 18. I have recently connected with my younger brother from my father's second marriage, Trevor. Trevor was only 3 when our father died, so he didn't know him either. We have yet to meet face to face.
I have an amazing extended family. Ellen, my brother Dana's wife, has been one of my closest friends since the day she was introduced to our family. My nieces Alexa and Samantha are the lights of my life, the sunshine of my days. Marrying Bob gave me yet another brother, David, and three more sisters (Kathy, Peggy and David's wife Marti). I was lucky to have Bob's father David in my life for a few years before he passed away, and would have loved to have gotten the opportunity to call him "Dad." I wish I'd had the opportunity to meet Bob's mother, Agatha, who passed away two years before Bob and I got together. Bob says she would have love me. I am truly blessed to have so many people who have welcomed me so completely into their lives.
I spend my free time reading, listening to music, collecting gemstones, learing to read Tarot cards, cooking, baking and deocrating, and of course writing. I love sports, especially the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and UConn Huskies. I hope to someday become a Ghost Hunter, but will have to stop being afraid of the dark first.
So there it is. Here I am. Don't be a stranger.
