Nature inspires me. Stress and anxiety melts away. My mind stops spinning and I am released.

 

On Top of the World

     The rock we sit upon offers views of glory.

Land that grows from the sea,

     Home to only what nature knows.

Waves that crash into granite,

     Forming crevices that roar like thunder.

Tops of trees we gaze through,

     Whose bottoms we look for but cannot see.

Ship's bells in the distance are the only reminder

     That the other life awaits our return.
